| Am I so lucky or the chance to turn unique armor into rare is very high? Tried to corrup 2 Atziri armor and both turned to rare, then just tried corrupt Tabula Rasa for fun and that one turtned to rare, what i the chance or I got 1 in a million chance to do that? | Taking in account the potency of what you can get with a corruption, I'd say it's in a good place in terms of chances and indeed it will crap a lot of uniques and gems before you get what you want. It's not like the vaal orb is like "hey, I just gave this dude a rare, I guess this time I better give him a corruption). The 25% chance (which it isn't but hey that's outside the point) is applied on each and every roll. The probability of getting a rare is 25% of the first roll. On the second roll, it's 25%. On the third roll, it's 25%, and so on. Over the course of time, say you rolled 1000 of them, ~250 would be rares. Same applies to everything, from the roll of a dice to a coin toss. The odds of getting tails on a flip is 50%. The odds of getting it again, yup, 50%. You can get 10 tails in a row, doesn't mean anything. Last league i did not have a single rare rolled, this league i tried 3 armors all turned rare, corrupted 2 gloves both +1 level, and other items nothing happened. Flapdrol is right that we we see mostly posts with lucky or unlucky rolls. I wonder why this game lacks more numnbers in this game, like statistics or percentages on certain things, is it because the numbers are constantly changing from league to league or is it impossible to findout |
